Pan Tèrra is a singer + songwriter + producer from Lagos, Nigeria based in New York and Providence, RI. She is known for her electrifying live performances, jaw-dropping freestyles, and most of all, her stunning vocal range and dexterity. Her signature sound, aptly dubbed ‘nomadic soul-pop’, weaves together an intricate sonic tapestry of R&B, psychedelic soul, afro-pop, folk and musical theatre influences to create something uniquely global and universally enjoyable.
She started singing at the age of 7 after watching ‘The Sound of Music’ and learning to impersonate the film’s lead character, Maria (played by Julia Andrews), to perfection. From then on, she featured in countless musical productions, choirs around the world, a cappella groups, and a college band. After growing up in England, Nigeria, and Hong Kong, she moved to the US to attend Brown University. In her senior year (2021), she was awarded the Jean and Francis Madeira “Excellence in Music” Award from the Brown Club of Rhode Island for her exceptional musical ability and potential.
After graduating, Pan Tèrra moved to NY to pursue her music career and her career as a Software Engineer. Since then, her music has been featured in editorial playlists on Spotify, Apple Music and AudioMack. She opened for Lupe Fiasco earlier this year, and was profiled in the Brown Alumni Magazine for a collaboration with fellow alum, DAP The Contract.
Her highly anticipated debut single, ‘Godfada’, was released on January 4th 2024, and is available on all streaming platforms. She followed it up with ‘Red Hot Mercedes’, a sweet and sultry modern classic fit for a James Bond movie soundtrack. Most recently, she released ‘Eve’, a haunting, ethereal earworm that puts her soaring, otherworldly vocals on full display. Pan Tèrra is a creative force to be reckoned with. 🐆✨
